How payment works

Deposit
The amount shown in the quote. It is what lets us lock in hotels, high-speed rail and the named bookings that need a passport.

Balance before you arrive
Paid by the date in the contract, once the itinerary has been agreed in writing.

Changes and cancellation
Deadlines are set per service type (hotel, rail, domestic flight) and stated in the contract. We go through them before any payment.
No payment is requested until the itinerary and the figure are settled in writing.

How much does a private tour of China cost?

Do the prices include international flights?
No. We cover the land portion in China: internal transport, guide, hotels, entry tickets and breakfast. Flights to and from China are handled separately.
Can I pay in euros?
The quote is issued in US dollars (US$) so that it does not depend on the exchange rate of the day. Payment can be made in euros at the rate on the invoice date.
Is there a single-room supplement?
Yes, when one traveller takes a room alone. It appears as its own line in the quote, never folded into the total.
Does the price change if I alter the itinerary?
The figure changes, not the tour. Adding a city changes the number of days and the total; swapping one city for another is usually neutral.
